Email: IMAP and forwarding
Last updated 7 Oct 2026
If a site's contact form already sends email, or customers write to an address like [email protected],
bring those emails into the panel. Open the site, tab Email, and choose one of two ways.
Connect a mailbox (IMAP)
Enter the mail server, port (usually 993), user and password, and the folder to read (usually INBOX).
Test the connection checks them before saving. From then on, every new email in that folder arrives in
the panel; older ones are not imported. The password is stored encrypted and is never shown again.
Tip: create a separate mailbox or an app password for this, rather than using your main password.
Forward to a private address
The panel gives the site a private address like site-…@in.onepanelforall.com. In your mailbox, add a
forwarding rule to that address (Gmail, Outlook and cPanel all have one). Every forwarded email arrives in
the panel, marked Email.
Problems
A mailbox that cannot be read (wrong password, server down) shows on the Problems page with the error. Emails larger than 10 MB are refused.
